It is based on 80 years old technology called as Germicidal Technology which uses Ultra-violet light to kill pathogens or any type of micro-organisms. It consists of a shorter and energetic wavelength of light. The radiation warps the structure RNA which prevents the viral particles from making more copies of them. UV-C kills microbes quickly. Sanitization of the items by employing UV-C light avoids the harmful effects of the chemicals used for the disinfection.

What is Ultra-violet light?
The Ultra Violet light is basically classified into three types:-
- UV-C – 100NM TO 280NM
- UV-B – 280NM TO 315NM
- UV-A – 315NM TO 400NM
How does Ultraviolet helps in killing pathogens and other micro-organisms?
Out of all the 3 types of Ultraviolet light, UV-C has the shortest wavelength and is also called as Germicidal technology which is 80 years old. The germicidal or UV-C lamp produces wavelength of 254nm to 260nm that attacks the DNA of any microorganism, de-activates and thus destroys their ability to multiply and cause the disease.
